KVC & KVC Kids

Welcome to Kingdom Voice Coaching.

We know those precious, timeless words that Jesus spoke, recorded in Luke 17:21. Some versions, such as the King James Version, says “…the kingdom of God is within you”, whilst others, such as Zondervan’s Amplified Bible, take their translations from the interlinear Greek or Hebraic bibles, where the words suggest more that “the kingdom of God is amongst you”. The two can suggest something very different some would argue. But what I realised as I pondered on it, is that when we receive Father’s gift of His Son and choose to yield  and hand our lives over to Him, He -Jesus Christ- comes to live in us. So, the kingdom of God truly is within every believer!

I have had wonderful revelations of this, with relation to singing. Another scripture that has been particularly poignant is in Genesis, “in the image of God He made them”. This scripture has struck me in profound ways at times during my study of vocal pedagogy. One of those examples I’ll share with you is how the voice mechanism does not work as we would imagine. When things work together, we imagine everything to be going in the same direction. Well, as we know from Isaiah 55:8, God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours! In can, in fact, be more closely likened to Ezekiel’s vision of the wheels within a wheel (ch 1 verse 16), or cogs interlocking with each other and that work antagonistically – seemingly against each other, in order for the voice to work.

Now that gives us something to think about, regarding being part of The Body of Christ, doesn’t it?! Except that the lesson to learn here is about how opposites can learn to get on -and work together- just like the vocal mechanism does. Have you got anatagonistic people in your fellowship? I want to encourage you to listen to their point of view. Pray about how God wants to use both kinds of people to grow His Church and pray for the grace to be able to work together, finding beauty in your differences.

“Your voice holds a treasure chest of jewels that is just waiting to be unlocked! It is true that the majority of people, from before we even enter adulthood, end up interfering with the process that was once undefiled as a baby, just because of the expectations, demands and stresses and strains of life that come upon us. Would you like to be able to use your voice, once again, in a way that unlocks this treasure chest of potential?
Whether your aim is singing for fun, singing for health or singing to multitudes in an arena, to be able to sing properly and experience all of the benefits this wonderful gift has to offer, we need to go back to the start. I’d love to work and walk alongside you on your journey!”

Do you have… a heart to explore worship within a song and break out of religious / boundaries of self consciousness?
Do you want… to grow in what our saviour speaks of, in John 4:24, as “in spirit and in truth” worship in a safe space? Do you want to dance, play your instrument and sing as king David did?
Do you desire… to begin leading worship and want someone to encourage you, help you prepare, help you grow in confidence? Do you want to learn how to tune in to Holy Spirit during your time of leading?

“Giving a personal offering of worship is more often than not a very different experience to leading a body of God’s people. Having travelled the U.K. and abroad on invitations to lead worship in all kinds of denominational churches, my prayer has always been to ask Holy Spirit to show me how to lead His people, in each specific fellowship He has sent me to. God’s Spirit knows how best to lead His flock into the Father’s throne room. As the leaders, He calls us to prepare our hearts and souls before Him prior to entering the tent of meeting. As we work with Holy Spirit and He flows through us, in a time of worship to Jesus and our heavenly Father, His fragrant presence is released and His glory, falls. An atmosphere of adoration and faith is cultivated and then… Anything can happen!!”

“I warmly recommend Trace to you in her role as coach and mentor. She has a wonderfully open-hearted approach to sharing her skills and insight, displays patience and great encouragement with those she shares.”

Paul Critchley, Worship Pastor at Beacon House of Prayer and founder of Presence Worship.

“I am a professional singer and wanted a few refresher singing lessons to ensure I hadn’t picked up any bad habits over the years! I immediately felt very comfortable with Tracey, who is extremely friendly, patient and more importantly very knowledgeable about the voice. She worked through exercises with me that challenged my vocal agility, stamina and fine tuned my ear to pitch. We also worked on tension release, which has had a huge benefit on improving the tone of my voice. I continue to practice the exercises Tracey gave me during our lessons and I have found them hugely beneficial. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey as a singing teacher suitable for all abilities.”

Wendy Abrahams, professional singer and family entertainer

“I had asked Tracey to help me sustain a specific character voice whilst singing, she gave me a number of tips which I have found extremely useful. I was extremely impressed with how she was able to adapt her knowledge of different singing methods to suit the character voice I had chosen…
…I have genuinely noticed how much easier I have found singing since working with Tracey. This has really helped me in my business and I would definitely work with Tracey again. I have no hesitation in recommending her which is the best endorsement I can give.”

Wink Taylor, Head Writer and Production Assistant for The Sooty Show. Brand Owner/Deviser of the Theo The Mouse Show

“For me as a producer, it’s so refreshing working with an artist like Trace Taylor. Working on her It Is Finished album (2015) was a very refreshing project in terms of engineering: It’s an album where, when you listen to it in its entirety, time seems to go very fast -which is a sign of good song arrangements and a good album structure.”

Shaun Lowe, Sony award winning Prism Studios

“Trace Taylor is a talented and accomplished musician. Having toured with her, seeing first hand her artistic excellence and passionate performances capture audiences attention at each event, I am convinced she would make an excellent vocal and performance coach for any aspiring artist. I strongly recommend her!”

Ted Bruun, Founder of the U.S.A & international tour, The Extreme Tour.

Trace has also been part of an artist mentoring team at the tour’s The Objective conference, held in Nashville TN. The role requires a great deal of listening and sensitivity, as well as imparting knowledge and experience, to help the artists move forward in their sense of calling.
